Caravan CL Site
Lake District Caravan CL Site in the beautiful Rusland Valley Crosslands Farm CL Members only Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) CL, accepting up to 5 pitches only, the site is a tranquil site with lovely views from all round. The site itself is self contained and surrounded by our farmland. There is a hard core gravel track running through the site giving excellent access to the hard standing pitches and to large area of grass if this is preferred. We have 2 swings and plenty of space for children to play. From the site there are several footpaths. High Dam is a beautiful place to walk too or Hay Bridge Nature reserve. The site is an excellent base for exploring the south lakes area and within easy reach of Coniston, Windermere and even the coast. Such as Grange over Sands or Roan Head. Also Grizedale Forest is nearby with Go Ape and the many paths for cycling and walking. Lovely panoramic view at Caron Cragg. Also mountains such as Coniston Old Man are very near. Beatrix Potters house, Haverthwaite Stwaem railway and the steamers and with in easy reach. In Hawkshead there is a deli, a Coop, pharmacy and pubs. The nearest pub 3 miles from the site. Nearby Ulverston offers supermarkets, shopping and restaurants. All pitches have electric hook-ups. Please note:- We do not have toilets and showers If you need a TV reception a satellite should be used for the best results.Telephone reception can be picked up with the main servers but there is 4G on the site. Dogs are welcome but please keep on a lead when walking off the site and under control when on the site. There are lots of footpaths to use. No open fires are allowed but barbecues or fire pits in a container off the ground are permitted but must be extinguished by 10pm. Please No noise after 10pm, please do not disturb other campers. Affectionately called The Paddock has 3 EHU pitches with a lovely view up the valley. It is situated 200m from our CL site with double gates for easy access.
