- Leave
the M6 at junction 36.

Follow signs towards Barrow (A590).

Go past the large roundabouts at the foot of Lindale Hill and
then Newby Bridge.
- Go past the
Haverthwaite terminus of the Steam Railway.
- At the end
of this short section of Dual Carriageway turn right at the crossroads.
- After half
a mile turn right again and follow the signs for Grizedale (3
1/2 miles).
- Go past Rusland
Hall, a large Georgian mansion on your left. (There is currently a Road Closed sign here - please ignore it as Crosslands Farm is still accessible.)
- Crosslands
is the house facing you at the top of a small hill !
